On February 23, 2016 members in districts 1-5 were emailed information on how to submit votes for Board of Governor and Young Lawyer Section Executive Committee Nominees using the State Bar’s E-Voting system. Each member were provided a specific link to vote for the nominees in his or her district. If you did not receive this link go to www.mywvbar.org, login and click “Vote Now”.
All voting MUST BE COMPLETED BY MIDNIGHT, MARCH 20, 2016. Election results will be available March 25, 2016.

All State Bar members previously received an email from Legal Aid asking for input regarding the development of free online trainings for pro bono attorneys. If you have not taken the survey, please take a few minutes to provide Legal Aid with your input by clicking the link below. Your input will help Legal Aid develop better, more effective trainings. The annual PIA auction will be at the WVU College of Law on Thursday, March 10th. A buffet dinner ($10) will be served at 5 p.m. and the auction begins at 6 p.m. in the new Event Space at the College of Law. All proceeds from the auction fund summer and full time public interest fellowships for WVU College of Law students.
There will be a lawyer door prize, raffles, and many interesting items up for bid. Some items of interest? A round of golf for 4 with cart and fees at the Greenbrier; golf for 2 and dinner at Nemacolin Resort; a handmade briefcase from Tanner’s Alley; a Fit Bit donated by LexisNexis; Pirates tickets; Steelers tickets; a year of admission to the Mon County Bar meetings (12 CLE’s!); Artwork; books; and much more!
