October 13-29, 2015: The West Virginia State Bar will hold nine Regional Meetings this fall. These meetings will provide 3.0 Continuing Legal Education credits, including 2 in the areas of ethics and substance abuse. The seminars have only been approved for CLE credit in West Virginia. Lunch will be included at each meeting. Each Regional Meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will last until, approximately, 1:30 p.m. The cost is $100 per person. One of The State Bar’s Officers will attend each meeting.
An Opportunity to Serve Those Who Served Our Country
The West Virginia State Bar’s Veterans and Military Affairs Committee will be hosting a webinar on Friday, October 30, 2015. The webinar will be live in Beckley and will be broadcast to the Veterans Administration Medical Centers in Bridgeport, Huntington, and Martinsburg. The webinar, which will run from 10:00 – 11:40, has been approved for 2.0 hours of general West Virginia CLE credit. Attendance is FREE but attendees will be asked to stay at the VAMC for one hour after the seminar working directly with veterans who will be scheduled for appointments at each facility between noon and 1:00 p.m. For a list of topics and speakers click here.
