Members of the West Virginia State Bar are Invited to Meet Law Dean Finalists
WVU recently announced finalists for the next Dean of the College of Law. Over the next month, the five finalists will be interviewing at the university and meeting with members of the College of Law community.
As part of the interview process, the College of Law is hosting an open reception for members of the bar, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends to meet the final candidates. Please attend these receptions if you can. They will take place from 5:00-6:00 p.m. in the College of Law lobby on the following dates:

The US District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia is accepting applications for a full-time US Magistrate Judge to serve the Clarksburg and Elkins points of holding court. The term of office is eight years subject to reappointment. 27th Annual Public Interest Advocates Auction
The 27th Annual PIA Auction will be held on Thursday, March 5th, at the WVU College of Law. The “Heroes of Public Interest”-themed event will begin with a buffet-style dinner at 5:00 p.m. in the College of Law lobby, followed by the auction at 6:15 p.m. The event is open to the public; the auction is free, and tickets for the dinner can be purchased for $10 at the door.
