The new system will allow payment of filing fees on line and will expedite the submission process significantly. Paper submissions will still be accepted, however, online submissions are encouraged.

Online Vouchers and 3.0 Hours of Ethics CLE
The West Virginia Public Defender Services is offering a series of presentations around the state on its Online Voucher System. These seminars will consist of a morning session of voucher training and an afternoon session of Ethics CLE. The details are: Lewisburg on March 11, 2014, at The State Fair of West Virginia’s WV Room; Clarksburg on March 13, 2014, at the Hilton Garden Inn Clarksburg; and Wheeling on March 18, 2014, at the West Virginia Northern Community College. Each seminar will begin at 10:00 a.m., and end at 3:00 p.m. The seminars themselves are free to panel counsel. For details, please visit the Public Defender Services website at http://www.pds.wv.gov/
Tax Credits Available
Please support the West Virginia Fund for Law in the Public Interest. Your donation funds fellowships for WVU College of Law students who work in public interest jobs, serving the poorest West Virginians. We are seeking donors who are willing to donate $500 or more to the WV Fund. A donation of $500 or more will qualify you for a 50% state tax credit that we have received and can issue from the WV Neighborhood Investment Program. The Fund received a large amount of tax credits this year and we have still have some remaining. We will issue them on a first come, first served basis. We need to issue our remaining credits by March 15th so time is of the essence. If you are able to donate, please remit your donation to the WV Fund for Law in the Public Interest, c/o Renee Wolf, WVU College of Law, P.O. Box 6130, Morgantown, WV 26506 as soon as possible.
