The University of Charleston’s Art program is proud to announce its first student exhibition in the West Virginia State Bar Center. Students showcasing their works are: Maame Serwaa Adu-Bonsu, Marieve G. Edwards, Kristina M. Ledezma, Amber Indigo Stanley.
The exhibition opened April 10 and continues through May 4, with an artists’ reception on Wednesday April 29, from 4:00 to 5:30 pm in the offices of the West Virginia State Bar.
The exhibition and reception are both free and open to the public. West Virginia State Bar is located in Northgate Business Park at 2000 Deitrick Boulevard, Charleston, WV 25311-1231.

WV State Bar Regional Meetings
October 13-29, 2015: The West Virginia State Bar will hold nine Regional Meetings this fall. These meetings will provide 3.0 Continuing Legal Education credits in the areas of ethics, office management, substance abuse, and/or elimination of bias. The seminars have only been approved for CLE credit in West Virginia. Lunch will be included at each meeting. Each Regional Meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will last until, approximately, 1:30 p.m. The cost is $100 per person. One of The State Bar’s Officers will attend each meeting.

“Making Money Talk – Effective Negotiations in Mediation” – Advanced Mediation Training
The ADR Committee will be sponsoring a negotiations trainingwith Andy Little, a nationally recognized mediator and negotiations trainer, and author of the book MAKING MONEY TALK. This training will take place on July 14, 2015, 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the Bridgeport Conference Center and will qualify for 7.5 hours of CLE. Join us and learn how to more effectively utilize negotiations in mediation, whether you are a mediator or an advocate for your client. All registrants will receive a complimentary copy of Andy’s book as part of the registration process.
