At its meeting of January 11, 2013, The West Virginia State Bar Board of Governors approved a $20 fee for reporting CLE credit hours submitted for any program which has not received prior approval from the MCLE Commission. The filing fee will become effective for all non-approved hours submitted on or after March 18. Click here to view a copy of the form. Lawyer Referral Service Now Online
The West Virginia State Bar’s Lawyer Referral Service Committee has introduced a new Lawyer Referral Service website! www.wvlawyerreferral.org
The new service is designed to provide a faster and easier way for the public to connect with attorneys who may be willing to take on new cases. Participants in the new Lawyer Referral Service can be searched by practice area and zip code. Please refer individuals seeking legal representation, which you are not able to provide, to this new website, rather than to the State Bar office.
