Starting August 29th, the West Virginia State Bar is once again traveling across the Mountain State to bring you this year’s Regional Meetings. Each meeting will feature engaging presentations from WVU College of Law professors, insights from the Office of Disciplinary Counsel on scams targeting lawyers, and the basics of navigating abuse and neglect work. It’s a great opportunity to connect with colleagues in your area and earn CLE credits—right in your own backyard or in a new location!
With a dynamic lineup of speakers from the WVU College of Law, no two meetings will be exactly the same. Topics include Artificial Intelligence in the legal field, Improving Legal Writing, “Junk Science,” Tax Law, and Handling Electronic Evidence. Feel free to attend just one or explore multiple sessions at different locations.
This year, the Bridgeport Regional Meeting will be held in conjunction with the State Bar’s Women in the Profession Committee. The day will include a CLE presentation in the morning, followed by a golf tournament in the afternoon.
