How do I use the membership portal? Please review the MCLE reminder listed online at www.wvbar.org or through the member portal at www.mywvbar.org under the 2012-2014 noncompliance section.
Is a course approved? Check the membership portal at www.mywvbar.org under the CLE tab, search list of approved courses. If the course is not shown online, it has not been approved for WV credit. Attorneys submit the attorney request for individual course approval along with the detailed agenda, brief speaker bios, and $20 processing fee per course.
When will my request for course approval, teaching, or publication credit be processed? The requests will be processed as quickly as possible after I return to work on January 5, 2015, or later.
How do I remove a duplicate MCLE entry on my record? Wait until after January 5, 2015 and e-mail compliance@wvbar.org to have it removed.
Why is my carryover for 2016 not showing online? Programmers are still working on the carryover portions of the database. The carryover will eventually be shown online once the programming is complete.
Where do I find the sponsor course approval application? Go to www.wvbar.org, select CLE and Resources for Providers, select the individual sponsor course approval application. Please note that the sponsor course approval fee will be doubled from $50 to $100 effective January 1, 2015, for applications not submitted 30 days prior to the seminar.
When will my sponsor application be processed? As quickly as possible January 5, 2015, or later when the MCLE Coordinator returns.
