Legal Services Day For Sexual Assault and Stalking Victims

Legal Aid of West Virginia and CONTACT Rape Crisis Center are hosting a free legal services day for sexual assault and stalking victims. The event is scheduled for Friday, August 16, 2013, at the Huntington Legal Aid office (1005 Sixth Avenue, Huntington, WV). Legal Aid is looking for attorneys to volunteer for the free legal services day.  Each attorney will be paired with CONTACT clients in 45-minute appointment blocks and will provide free legal advice during each appointment. Legal Aid needs attorneys for the morning shift (9a.m.-12 p.m.) and afternoon shift (1 p.m.-3 p.m.). Lunch will be provided.
