The Fourth Circuit Public Defender Corporation is seeking applications for the full-time position of Assistant Public Defender. The position may include the handling of felony, misdemeanor, juvenile, and/or abuse and neglect proceedings.
Applicant must be licensed to practice law in the state of West Virginia. Experience preferred but not a requirement. The preferred applicant should have the following skills: excellent communication skills, skills of persuasion and negotiation, strong time management and organizational skills. Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
