BB Injury Law is hiring an experienced Paralegal and Case Manager for our West Virginia personal injury practice. This is a fully remote position.
What You’ll Do
Client intake, onboarding, and ongoing client communication
Track medical treatment and gather medical records and bills
Identify and resolve liens and subrogation claims (Medicaid, Medicare, ERISA, PEIA, hospital, and LOP)
Draft demand packages and support settlement negotiations under attorney direction
Coordinate settlement disbursements
Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions under attorney supervision
Calendar and track court deadlines, hearings, and trial dates
Coordinate depositions, exhibits, witnesses, and trial logistics
Qualifications
At least 5 years of West Virginia plaintiff personal injury experience
Working knowledge of the West Virginia Rules of Civil Procedure and Magistrate Court procedure
Experience drafting demand packages and calculating special damages
Lien and subrogation experience
Comfort with West Virginia e-filing
Strong organization and a track record of never missing a deadline
Preferred
Trial support experience
Experience supervising or training paralegal staff
Familiarity with wrongful death and minor-settlement procedures in West Virginia
