Criminal Justice Act Panel Applications

The United States District Court for Southern District of West Virginia is currently accepting applications for appointment to the Criminal Justice Act Panel.  Members in good standing of the federal bar of the Southern District who have relevant experience and a desire to provide quality representation to indigent defendants in a variety of criminal matters are encouraged to review the current CJA Plan and access a PDF-fillable application from the Court’s website at www.wvsd.uscourts.gov or Click Here for an application.  The CJA Plan is located in the CJA section under CJA Orders and the application is located under CJA Panel.  Both include full eligibility requirements.  Applications are due by April 18, 2014.  Angie Volk, CJA Supervising Attorney for the Southern District, is available to address any questions at 304-347-3191 or angie_volk@wvsd.uscourts.gov.
