Toys For Tots
The West Virginia State Bar’s Veteran and Military Affairs Committee is participating in the Marine Corp Reserve’s Toys for Tots program this year. Most activities will take place in late October to mid November. If you are interested in volunteering to help by hosting a drop box, collecting and/or sorting toys at the Reserve Center, please contact Committee Co-chairperson Lew Brewer at rbtr8or@outlook.com or Anita Casey at caseya@wvbar.org.

Task Force on the Future of the Law
The State Bar’s Task Force on the Future of the Law (FOL) Technology Subcommittee is examining changes in the practice of law springing from technology.  What is coming to challenge and disrupt our practices?  What is welcome?  How will we respond and adapt?  Working groups on (1) limited scope representation (e.g., unbundling, coaching, ghost writing) and (2) law practice security are soliciting additional members.  The subcommittee’s monthly telephonic meetings are riveting.  If you are interested, please contact Jill McIntyre (jmcintyre@jacksonkelly.com).
