Expedited Service at Secretary of State’s Office
Effective September 7, 2017, the West Virginia Secretary of State’s office will provide expedited services through a separate fee for business filings filed at any of the Secretary of State’s business locations, as permitted through the passage of Senate Bill 547, West Virginia Code section 59-1-2(k). Position Announcement
The Federal Public Defender for the Southern District of West Virginia, at Charleston, is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Federal Public Defender.  The Federal Public Defender operates under authority of the Criminal Justice Act, U.S.C. § 3006A, to provide defense services to indigent persons in federal criminal cases and related matters in the federal courts. Click here for more information

Art Exhibition
The State Bar Center will be sponsoring an opening reception to showcase the work of Charleston Catholic High School seniors at the State Bar Center on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 5:00pm-7:00pm.
