ACCESS TO JUSTICE FOUNDATION AWARDED GRANT FROM
WEST VIRGINIA STATE BAR
Charleston, wv, FEBRUARY 19, 2018: The West Virginia State Bar is pleased to announce a grant of $ 74,277.00 to the Access to Justice Foundation. The grant money is to be used as seed money by the Access to Justice Commission, housed at the West Virginia University College of Law, to hire a part time director for the Commission and to make several specific grants to organizations charged with providing legal information and services to the public.
According to State Bar President Meshea L. Poore “the objective and purpose of the West Virginia State Bar is to protect the interests of the public and to advance the administration of justice. We could not be more delighted to support Dean Bowman and the West Virginia University College of Law with this seed money. We have all confidence that, through the Access to Justice Commission and the College of Law many West Virginians will be helped.”
