The West Virginia Tax Institute, sponsored by The West Virginia Bar Association, The West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accounts, The College of Law, the College of Business and Economics and West Virginia University, will present the 64th Annual Meeting beginning Sunday evening, October 20, 2013 and continuing through 12:30 pm on Tuesday afternoon, October 22, 2013 at The Resort at Glade Springs, Daniels, West Virginia. Sunday evening will kick off the seminar with the recent Federal Tax Updates. Monday will include topics on Tax Planning, Ohio Assets Protection Trust, Forensic Accounting, The Affordable Care Act, Creative Ideas for Entrepreneurial Clients, Cloud Computing, Establishing an Ethical Culture and Ethics for Estate Planners. Tuesday’s program will be dominated by the West Virginia State Tax Department, but will also include a topic on Economic Development and Jobs Creation in West Virginia. This seminar qualifies for 16.2 hours of CLE and CPE, including 3 hours of ethics.
