Disability Rights of West Virginia (DRWV), the federally mandated protection and advocacy system for people with disabilities, is seeking a staff attorney who wants to litigate and reform West Virginia’s health care system. Candidate must have experience in electronic discovery, motion practice, and taking depositions. Litigation will involve Olmstead, Abuse & Neglect, the Americans With Disabilities Act, and other state and federal regulations concerning disability rights in federal and state courts. Position requires compassion for persons with a disability, a commitment to prosecute challenging cases, and creativity to demonstrate deficient health care delivery to vulnerable West Virginians.
